Jørgen Waldussen started his career as an electrician. After several years in that area, he moved forward to the engineer business. He ended up with a Bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2019 and has never looked back. After some years working with engineering projects- and sales in the marine industry, he is now joining our dedicated sales team as a sales engineer to ensure that Cranemaster keeps building strong customer relations in the offshore market.
Why did you decide to join our team?
First of all, I’ve heard great things about Cranemaster as a workplace. The location was ideal for me and the facilities are excellent. I also had a positive impression of Espen, the humble leader who is actively involved and forward-thinking.
How has your first weeks at Cranemaster been?
Even though I had a bit of a rocky first week, with literally one functional eye to focus with, it has been good. Especially the warm and welcoming atmosphere from day one. Besides that, I´ve been enjoying getting to know so many different skilled and nice people here at Cranemaster, as well as many new routines and systems to familiarise me with.
What are you looking forward to at Cranemaster?
Several things! I’m excited about meeting customers, especially that part when we have the possibility to meet them in person. I´m also looking forward to contributing to our sales process and making Cranemaster an outstanding player in the industry.
What do you do for fun?
As a “soon to be” father of three, my time is pretty limited these days. But one of my guilty pleasures, that I always find the time for, is country music. When i´m outside running or in the car – nothing gets me in a better mood. I’m also part of the quick reaction force in the Norwegian Home Guard with exercises 3-4 times a year, which is yet a guilty pleasure in a strange way. Spending a week with friends in the woods – the perfect get away in my opinion.
