We continue to strengthen our team and have welcomed Christian Lund as our new Sales Manager. He brings with him global experience and industry knowledge to meet Cranemasters rapidly expanding demand to provide best in class heavy lifting service to both renewable and traditional energy industry.
Christian Lund has more than three decades of extensive leadership experience in the global offshore energy arena. His journey, which started as a hands-on mechanic operator on deck, evolved into project management and development, leaving a significant mark on the industry. Now, he’s back in Langesund, where his international career once began many years ago.
A lifelong journey through the offshore energy industry Christian Lund’s career has been nothing short of remarkable. He started his oil and gas offshore career at the age of 18 years old in the Norwegian sea. However, it wasn´t before joining FMC Technologies (now TechnipFMC) in the late 90’s at Smietangen in Langesund that his international career took him on a 20-year journey through Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe.
After ten years at Oil Spill Response, establishing and leading a subsea blowout emergency response department in Southampton, Christian was finally ready to head back where it all began.
Christian stepped into his role at Cranemaster as a Sales Manager in September, and we are thrilled to finally welcoming him and his broad experience to the team.
It’s incredible to come full circle and be back where it all started. I’ve learned so much from my global experiences, and now, I’m excited to apply that knowledge to new challenges at Cranemaster while enjoying the serene coastal views at home in Norway.
