Customer Challenge:
Cross haul and landing of 167 metric tons piles, manifolds and pump stations for TechnipFMC USA.
Cranemaster Solution:
Two Cranemaster units in series with SWL of 250 metric tons and 2,5 meter stroke.
The Results:
The structures were successfully installed at 2700 meter water depth from the vessel Deep Blue at Petrobras America Cascade and Chinook gas fields in the Gulf of Mexico. The Cranemaster units were used as a passive heave compensation system to reduce landing speed on the sea floor. Particular to this project, the Cranemaster units were deployed through the moon pool of the Deep Blue.
